Though NKT denies its involvement in its ugly protest rallies against the Dalai Lama and its association with its PR muscle, the Western Shugden Society, NKT's founder sent a letter to NKT centers around the world stating,

"...as the representative of the Western Shugden Society, I personally will organise demonstrations against the Dalai Lama directly. I requested Kelsang Pema and Kelsang Thubchen to do this job for me and they have accepted."

NKT Clergy Leadership's Fists against the Dalai Lama

NKT's Louder Voice

Look like Buddhists to you?

Overcome wih its theology of anger, arrogance and revenge, NKT aggressively blames the Dalai Lama for what NKT imagines are evil lies taught by the Dalai Lama about their anger god (the Dalai Lama's views about NKT's anger god are widely supported in the Tibetan Buddhist community and their rich history of Buddhism for over 1,300 years). NKT claims that the Dalai Lama destroyed Tibetan Buddhism.

About 6 other named Buddhists, some of whom are ordained monks and all of whom are private citizens, NKT has published sordid and apparently defamatory psychiatric biographies and claims that they have...

"caused material damage to the NKT-IKBU by undermining its reputation, and between them have destroyed the faith of hundreds, perhaps thousands, of individuals. People therefore have a right to protect themselves by knowing who they are. If their anti-NKT opinions and misinformation were not everywhere on the Internet, the smears against the NKT would drop by an estimated two-thirds or more."

According to NKT, these 6 individuals are destroying NKT's global enterprise and are appropriate subjects of NKT's relentless and prolific vilification. While NKT has threatened litigation for several years, NKT has yet to sue for NKT's perceived-but-hypothetical damages.

It is difficult not to ask what kind of enterprise, or heresy, is this that seeks revenge in the name of Buddhism, Shakyamuni (introduced Buddhism 2,500 years ago in India) or Tsongkhapa (introduced the REAL new Kadampa Tradition 600 years ago in Tibet that NKT seeks to disparage).

NKT ignores the intensely deleterious impact of its thousands of despicable Internet blog posts and several caustic web sites, which are unparalleled sources of NKT's disrepute. Few could have a positive view of NKT's reputation and faith after reviewing NKT's disturbing operation.

Such blame is a recurring theme from Gyatso, NKT's chief executive. For example, Gyatso wrote one of his previous discredited heirs about his NKT tantra training with Gyatso long after it was widely known if not encouraged by Gyatso, who did nothing to protect the victims even though Gyatso is claimed by NKTites to know all,

"You have destroyed the NKTs reputation and the power of all NKT Resident Teachers...You had sex with so many students and through your deceptive actions one nun tried to commit suicide because of your sexual behaviour towards her...Because the NKTs reputation and power of the Resident Teachers has been destroyed by your activities now the future development of the NKT will be difficult both materially and spiritually."

(There have been several other instances of high-level sexual misconduct at NKT, common enough for some to view this problem in NKT as a core characteristic of NKT's theology.)

During Gyatso's takeover of Manjushri Institute from the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition for Gyatso's personal residence and corporate headquarters (destroying its rich Buddhist library in the process), Gyatso threatened turning over a 100-page report of illegal activities at Manjushri Institute, including drug smuggling. Even today, FPMT remains a target for Gyatso's ire.

Gyatso is unaffiliated with any known form of Buddhism or any of the official schools of Tibetan Buddhism, including Kadampa Buddhism (based on teachings of Atisha in Tibet, 980-1054) and New Kadampa Buddhism (based on teachings of Tsongkhapa in Tibet, 1357-1419). Gyatso's naming his enterprise the New Kadampa Tradition is, therefore, misleading and offensive (an apt description of NKT's corporate culture as well).

Gyatso's early austere life and training were in Tibet, but he ultimately rejected his roots and Tibetan Buddhism in favor of life in a large mansion in England and developing his financially successful global business model - from rags to riches in a few years after setting up business in England.

Gyatso's theology, teachings, procedures and ordinations largely contradict authentic Buddhism. While Gyatso claims the purest devotion to Tsongkhapa, little of Gyatso's public policy is consistent with Tsongkhapa's teachings. Gyatso does not permit books written by Tsongkhapa in NKT stores or libraries and does not teach from them. Virtually all Gyatso's teachings derive from his own publications sold by NKT's own publisher.

Gyatso sells 'easy Buddhism', all the performance but without the purported and exaggerated effort of authentic forms of Buddhism. Gyatso's enterprise is like a bogus diet pill, lose weight without dieting or exercising, or like a lite beer, all the taste without the calories. At first, NKT can be stimulating and euphoria inducing; eventually, the pendulum swings toward headaches, addictions, misconduct and feelings of isolation and withdrawal as NKT's pursuit of selfishness is recognized as a harmful trait that is difficult to shed.

Gyatso is NKT's sole founder and leader, a self-appointed Geshe presiding over a one-of-a-kind sect unaffiliated with any authentic school of Buddhism, a 'Buddhist' renegade according to Tibetan Lamas and the Monastery Gyatso trained at, but purportedly the only living Buddha and only the third Buddha ever (recognized by no authentic Buddhist anywhere; see Gyatso's 'credentials' here). NKT students are advised to view their NKT teachers in the local NKT center as emanations of Gyatso and to consider Gyatso their guru (most NKT students have never seen Gyatso other than in his ubiquitous framed pictures in NKT centers).

Gyatso requires strict allegiance to and reliance on only him and his primary and wrathful spirit god Shugden or suffer expulsion and targeting for publicized attacks, unlike the compassionate diversity of Tibetan Buddhism that Gyatso attempts both to package for westerners (not traditional Buddhist cultures) and castigate as degenerate because there is too little interest within traditional Tibetan schools of Buddhism in Shugden worship.

For his Geshe training, which he did not complete, Gyatso attended Sera Je Monastery/College. About Gyatso, leadership of Sera Je Monasterey wrote in 1996 ('all lies' according to Gyatso and his sycophantic foot soldiers),

"it is a measure of profound sorrow that a so called “Geshe” Kelsang Gyatso and his English supporters have embarked upon a ruthless smear campaign to tarnish the International stature of His Holiness The Dalai Lama.

It is nothing short of blasphemy in the eyes of the overwhelming majority of the six million Tibetans.

It is nothing but a crude form of debasing the Dalai Lama for his own selfish ends...We have nothing but pity for your ignorance.

The Tibetans all over the world were deeply distressed by your attempt to portray the Dalai Lama as a “ruthless dictator” an “oppressor of his own people” and smash his International stature so that the Tibetan struggle will be like a rudderless ship tossing helplessly in the sea of international intrigues and treacery. From where did you borrow your vocabulary to malign the Dalai Lama? Are they not straight from the Chinese propaganda dictionary?

We advise him to accept the fact that he is an ordinary being and stand no chance whatsoever to challenge the Dalai Lama. He is not even a Geshe. The so called “third Buddha” is a figment of imagination conjured up by his fawning desciples as a propaganda tool to attract more people to his centre and that it should not go to his head.

We have therefore stripped him of his membership from our Sera Jhe Dratsang since the holy scriptures have clearly prescribed to evict such apostates who will foul the Sanga community’s spiritual purity and serenity and will have a negative influence for the whole community.

His venomous invectives against the Dalai Lama is unbecoming of a Buddhist...

(referring to Gyatso)...Possessed by a terrible demon, without shame, embarrassment, or modesty, he doesn't have even the slightest care or concern for any of the commitments of the three vows [pratimoksha, bodhicitta, and tantric] which he undertook.

He continuously broadcasts blatantly shameless mad pronouncements, attacking with baseless slander His Holiness the Dalai Lama, whose kindness for us, the people of Tibet, has been greater that the Buddhas of the three times. These unimaginable statements which defame the name of His Holiness have created an urgent adverse situation which no Tibetan can tolerate.

Therefore, all those connected with Sera Je College, lamas and tulkus, abbots, former executives, senior and junior geshes, together with the leaders of the individual khangtsen [regional houses], all together, in agreement, with one voice, hereby proclaim that on this day, August 22, 1996, Kelsang Gyatso, the one with broken commitments and wrong view, is cast out with the "ritual nine expulsions," and is thereby banished from this place, and the being a part of the rule of our College.

This means that we request all of our brothers and sisters, the Tibetan people inside and outside Tibet, to completely sever any relationship with him. Concerning the practice of worshiping divine protectors at this Monastery in particular, the protector who was directed by the previous great masters to advise, command, and look after our Monastery is the Dharma protector Dregpa Chamsing [Dregs Pa lCam Sring). Aside from this protector there has traditionally been no worship of Dolgyal [Dorje Shugden]."

NKT's god Shugden

Unlike 99.9+% Buddhists in the world, including most Tibetan Buddhists, Gyatso markets Shugden as a Buddha (and himself as the only living Buddha), vehemently denying mainstream Tibetan history and belief pertaining to Buddha nature and Shugden, who is sometimes propitiated (conciliated) to appease his wrath but generally disregarded.

For Gyatso, western affluence and affinity for quick happiness marketing based on Gyatso's proprietary book business rather than authentic and revered Buddhist writings has been a gold mine.

Shocking, until Gyatso's megalomaniacal mission is understood, Gyatso allows only his own books in his centers and for his followers, denying the value of Tsongkhapa's many seminal writings and those of any other respected Buddhist author (most especially the Dalai Lama, a human emanation of Buddha Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of compassion).

While Gyatso and NKT sacrilegiously profess pure dedication to Tsongkhapa, a deeply revered Tibetan Lama (1357-1419), and the purest 'tradition' of Tsongkhapa's teachings available, beyond a few references in Gyatso's books (the only ones allowed in NKT centers), none of Tsongkhapa's many books are presented in or taught at NKT, not even Tsongkhapa's profound work, The Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path. [However, visitors can purchase statues of Tsongkhapa costing up to hundreds of dollars at some NKT centers.]

Gyatso purports to be the only pure teacher remaining dedicated to and capable of deciphering Tsongkhapa, though has nothing to do with any school or organization dedicated to Tsongkhapa, e.g. The Lama Tsongkhapa Institute in Italy. Gyatso effectively ridicules Tsonghkapa's inclusionist training and teaching, replacing it with Gyatso's exclusionist Shugden cult (Tsongkhapa never discussed Shugden; however, Gyatso claims that Shugden is Tsongkhapa's reincarnation).

NKT is dedicated only to its own 'charities' (deluxe Mediterranean hotels, apartments, spas, mansions, restaurants, book publisher/distributor, political organization known as the Western Shugden Society).

A Few 'Humble' NKT Charities

NKT open for business meeting business

NKT has no involvement with any Buddhist school, organization, college, culture, mission, literature, root texts, Rinpoche, Geshe, Lama, education program, charity, research, monastery, ordination, fellowship, institute, scriptural translation project or commitment to compassion (NKT's founder was expelled by his monastery/college for his use of Shugden against the Dalai Lama, requiring NKT's founder to grant himself his 'geshe' degree; click here for additional information).

NKT is staffed with government-subsidized tenants of NKT's apartment houses, among others, and organized with several hundred 'ordained' disproportionately young and inexperienced clergy of NKT's founder, Gyatso, who has created a self-styled westernized break-away distorted new 'tradition' of Buddhism loosely based on, although not affiliated with any recognized entities of, Indo-Tibetan Buddhism to capture imaginations with Gyatso's emphasis on tantra that has too often led to sexual misconduct by his heirs and other senior clergy.

NKT has separated itself from traditional Buddhism and traditional Buddhist cultures, which have insufficient affluence, insufficeint receptivity to Gyatso's marketing and disregard for distorted versions of its time-honored Buddhism such as NKT.

More fundamentally, NKT is determined to supplant traditional Buddhism and its dedication to compassion as taught by Buddha Shakyamuni 2,500 years ago, replacing this rich and wondrous legacy with an angry form of worship to NKT's malevolent westernized god, Shugden.

NKT's theology - distort and export a minor Tibetan fundamentalist cult of Shugden worship around the world attempting to rival the Dalai Lama in the guise of a media-savvy multi-national organization of 1,100 meditation centers, deluxe Mediterranean hotels, government-subsidized apartments, spas, mansions, restaurants, web sites, empowerment festivals (including mass tantra empowerments for novices and with children in attendance) and many young 'clergy' and followers dedicated to sometimes militant worship of Shugden, a wrathful spirit historically used by Gyatso's prized 'lineage' to harm non-believers and their property.

According to NKT about its upcoming big tantra party,

"After 2009 Venerable Geshe-la is not taking any commitment to grant Heruka and Vajrayogini empowerments. We understand this from him directly so if you wish to receive these empowerments from Geshe-la you should attend the Summer Festival 2009."

Gyatso goes Tantra

So alluring, so promising....enlightenment during this lifetime through imagined and actual sexual yogas brilliantly marketed above as a beautiful goddess dakini offering her leading man sensual delights in the chamber at the end of the inviting walkway. And of course, Gyatso is pleased. We can be too.

Quoting Jessica Simpson in a Direct TV advertisement, "I don't know what that is but I want it." And, so do hundreds of predominatly young NKT clergy and lay members often with their children by their sides.

NKT's provocative and immoral approach to tantra is a truly abusive and cavalier distortion of the rich legacy of Indo-Tibetan Buddhism and the meaning of enlightenment. It is sanctimonious and sacrilegious cultivation of ego and a false sense of superiority over others.

NKT's fundamentalism targets westerners, offering something different, pop psychology, psychiatric counseling, frail solutions to the world's problems, vegetarian meals, housing, a sense of close community (at first) and a slick quick path to happiness and enlightenment with Gyatso's version of tantra and purportedly the purest form of Buddhism available while castigating Tibetan Buddhism as corrupt at the hands of the Dalai Lama.

This recent assessment of NKT and its political arm, the Western Shugden Society (WSS), is 'spot on',

"The perverse attitude of WSS/NKT is a manifestation of the ambivalence they feel about being freaks in western society, they are just the new hare krishnas, people generally regard them as odd, to say the least. This creates a sort of cognitive dissonance in themselves: even though they bear Tibetan names and wear imitation Tibetan costumes, it feels good to lash out at the group they know they can never be and secretly despise. So the culture of NKT has festered into an anti-Tibetan enclave. They fancy themselves as scholars but they are simply deluded, neither here nor there."

One of the westernizations of Gyatso and his followers is the proclivity to threaten harassing and likely frivolous lawsuits against those NKT wishes to deny free speech and religious freedom (including media outlets), those who disagree with NKT's theology and mission, and those who NKT wishes to expel from their government-subsidized housing (Gyatso and NKT support the lawsuit filed in India in 2008 against the Dalai Lama and the Government of India for the Dalai Lama's historical, recognized and spiritual leadership in the Tibetan Government in Exile based in India since the 1959 overthrow of the Dalai Lama in Tibet by the communist Chinese government). NKT's most vocal Internet bloggers claim that this journalistic web site should be targeted by NKT for a lawsuit. A benefit of such a frivolous lawsuit would be the prospect of questioning Gyatso, his board of directors, his clergy, his real estate managers, his marketing agencies and his administrative directors under oath (see a sample of questions for them here).

NKT calls westerners to its happy island. However, most eventually leave NKT, sometimes after substantial trauma and fear, sometimes after intervention from loved ones, sometimes after sexual abuse, sometimes after donating all their savings, sometimes expelled from NKT's government-subsidized housing or from attendance at its meditation centers, sometimes ridiculed on its web sites or in its prolific blog posts.

In the words of someone who found the courage to leave NKT,

"NKT faithful may never agree with the truth about the harm they are causing. Their hate and egos have overruled their humanity. They have learned to enjoy their adrenalin surges from bad mouthing others, acting and looking like crack addicts rather than Buddhists. It gives them their arrogance and lust for power. Their spin has become a reflex because it is so comforting to them.”

An ex-NKT monk observed,

"Step by step, I was sucked into the system of NKT until I was quite brainwashed...I was told that Geshe-la was now my root guru, if you leave your root guru you will be reborn in hell and all of your realizations will be lost and in all your future lifes you will be without a qualified teacher...Later, I recognized that not only that I had such experiences, they seemed to be symptomatic for and systemic in NKT...My NKT experience was like eating a sweet but poisoned fruit. The taste was sweet in the beginning...Later, the poison started to ruin me...I would be happy if others could avoid stepping into such a devastating situation, which I see as a spiritual trap."

Gyatso wrote to a follower who felt compelled to leave him,

"you are going against my spiritual wishes and as you say...rebelling against my system, such a thing has never happened before in Buddhist history."

Ironically, NKT argues that it is understandable that after members, monks and nuns leave NKT because of their disgust and distrust, many join the NKT survivors group hoping to derive some therapeutic benefits from the discussions held.

Sadly, NKT thrives on and fuels this controversy and prefers protests over peace - in the streets and on the Internet. During the spring of 2008, when at least 2 of NKT's senior teachers questioned the propriety of Gyatso's political campaign against the Dalai Lama, Gyatso fired them. At least one NKT center administrative director resigned because of Gyatso's protest movement (at Florida's lead NKT center in Sarasota, from which Lucy James, senior NKT teacher, transcriber for Gyatso's 'teachings' and Gyatso book editor, was fired by Gyatso).

As part of his fundamentalism, Gyatso organizes protests along side the communist Chinese government against the Dalai Lama around the world and on the Internet (the communist Chinese government is forcing Shugden worship in Tibet as part of its cultural genocide there).

NKT sees Communist Government in China its ally in Shugden promotion and against the Dalai Lama and Tibet

The following Internet posts from NKTites are common...

“And wouldn’t China promote it bigger and better than anyone. After all they have economic power base that is growing by the month. We have to look beyond this generation alone. We have to look at China and her relationship with Dorje Shugden long after the Dalai Lama has passed on…China is making Dorje Shugden bigger and bigger."

"Then from China, Dorje Shugden’s practice will spread to the multitudes of Chinese speaking areas of Asia, then the world. Everyone respects China either for monetary, business or cultural reasons. It is after all one of the greatest cultures known to man past and present. It will be the number one culture in the world as it has been in ancient times in the near future due to economic growth. Everything Chinese will be respected and proliferated in the world. In the near future, the tide will turn towards the east and that is China. Everything Chinese will be sought after, praised and valued. Even today, many governments do not wish to offend the Chinese government in hopes of securing lucrative deals. After all, isn’t bringing prosperity one of the main functions of any government whether Democratic or Socialist?…making Dorje Shugden the most popularly known Buddhist deity next to Kuan Yin in China at this time."

NKT is determined that Shugden will be the most popularly known Buddhist Deity, whatever the costs.

Judge for yourself how pro-communist-Chinese that NKT's PR division, the Western Shugden Society, can be - click here.

However, extreme physical harm can come from pro-Shugdenite forces. For example, here and here.

About the Dalai Lama, a NKTite published in February 2009,

"The Dalai Lama doesn’t stand a chance in his battle against the Wisdom Buddha Dorje Shugden!"

NKT abhors the Dalai Lama and anyone who questions NKT's fundamentalism. For example, click here for an NKT enemies hit list wherein NKT publishes their pictures and possibly libelous disparaging psychiatric descriptions (NKT claims that the criticism of the NKT would decline by at least two thirds if 6 specific Buddhists were silenced). Dare not criticize NKT or you could be added to NKT's hit list - an NKT tactic paralleling its recurring threats of litigation. Fortunately, NKT's threats have not been successful. (NKT has web site's calling the editor's of this web site confused, delusional and liars and claiming that a contributor to this web site has slandered NKT, its teachers and its practices to promote his/her own traditions and teachers. Characteristically, these NKT claims are 100% false.)

That NKT corporation states as fact false claims that its critics and competitors are guilty of criminal activity and finds nothing wrong advertising its conclusions of psychiatric weaknesses of its critics provide remarkable revelations about NKT's disturbing purportedly pure theology. NKT may one day be prosecuted and subjected to class action litigation for these wrongful corporate policies.

About this web site, an NKTite submitted the following essay (and boasts in blogs that it was added to this web site:

"YOu bunch of treacherous; sucking on your mothers 'tits. OoooooooH I feel so high reading your unsubstantiate reasonings with "hype" messages, "hype website",You bunch of low class, low intelligence pro -Dalai Lama "Buddhists", You can't even spell "independant". I bet you behave just like your guru Dalai Lama the Hollywood Monk who grab the tits of some female stars behind the scene. In front of the camera, he is so holy,,,,,hoooooly   ,,,,,,,,, and that I bet the dharma protector would love to spank him as well as you tonite, may be you'll run into a car accident and it 'll give you an opportunity to curse the Dharma protector, you like to blame and blame, and blame and whine and whine. Don't you? You like mental S& M, don't you, or you choose to play physical s& m with your guru His Holinessssssss............ Your Kind of " buddhism" is to dictate people to act accordingly to your whims,& manipulations. Nothing else. Low quality, no -substance teachings. Perhaps I should teach you on Madhyamika - prasangika, I bet your understanding of "the 50 versus of guru Devotion" is to suck on your lama's tits. Who are u to challenge Trijang Rinpoche's disciple, based on your Dalai Lama's official letter? How official is that "official"? 'love and compassion" is a front stage show for you to show off your self grandiose delusions. Dictate on people on how they should spend their money on charities? YOu can't even control your own life, your own finances.Your practices sucks. Do you have the nerves to post my message on your website ?????"

Such sentiment is common from NKT in its web sites and blog posts.

Other spiteful NKTites have also sent messages to this web site, claiming that an illegal copy of Adobe Dreamweaver is used to create the web site, the protests against The Dalai Lama are not an attack on The Dalai Lama, there is no Dharma on this web site, contributors to this web site have a very serious problem, and don't forget to take your medications. Again, all 100% false. Truth is difficult to find within NKT. In contrast, false attacks come easy to NKT.

Like the rest of NKT public policy, these harsh posts add brush strokes of detail to NKT's anti-Buddhist portrait and theology.

Of course, many ex NKT members and administrators have applauded this web site, offering kindness, encouragement, and sublime heart-felt devotion to Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.

The more you learn about NKT, the more you may become concerned and the more likely you will avoid NKT. (NKT has plenty of web sites, mostly vindictive however and the rest selling NKT books and festival packages, that enable those interested to have ready access to NKT's theology to assist them in arriving at their own conclusions. For examples, click here.)

According to Gyatso, hundreds of millions of Buddhists around the world, hundreds of Buddhist monasteries and organizations, the Nobel prize organization, thousands of academic researchers, thousands of book stores around the world, hundreds of newspapers and book publishers, over a billion non-Buddhists, dozens of universities which have granted the Dalai Lama honory degrees, and at least a hundred heads of state are all wrong about the Dalai Lama, who, according to NKT now, like magic, is not a Buddhist or even a real Dalai Lama - the legitimate head of the Tibetan Government for hundreds of years.

Interestingly, there are dozens of web sites devoted to supporting or disagreeing with NKT's mission (virtually always against NKT unless from NKTIites). NKT's controversial and militant mission has generated tens of thousands of blog posts, hundreds of analytical essays, and hundreds of media stories. Without the cultural genocide of the Tibetan culture and immensity of the world's political and economic challenges, Gyatso and NKT (reminiscent of Sun Myung Moon and the Unification Church infamy of the 1970s/1980s) would be in the news even more often.

NKT is Buddhism's biggest blemish. NKT trades on the rich legacy of Buddha's teachings to promote their opposite. Rather than protest against Buddhists, why doesn't NKT protest against suffering?

Rather than practice compassion, NKT raises funds to develop its real estate holdings and to send bus loads of followers with signs and PR campaigns to protests around the world and to publish caustic web sites and blog posts against the Dalai Lama and other Buddhists - what NKT considers 'charities'. Rather than share love, NKT supplies media personalities to call the Dalai Lama and other Buddhists evil liars.

NKT Bus Lineup against the Dalai Lama, another NKT Charity

On a spiritual level, NKT promotes samsaric selfishness and anger, the antithesis of Buddhism. Sadly, NKT's tantra marketing, psychiatric counseling and seemingly low cost housing are all too appealing to its western targets who often are destroyed by the NKT cult. To NKT, all that matters is Shugden and supremacy.

NKT's controversial public policy hurts us with its protests and vindictiveness, shunning away from Buddhist spirituality almost anyone who sees an NKT protest rally or caustic web site. Simply watch someone who is not affiliated with NKT exposed to NKT's spiteful work products and you will observe that they will wince and recoil. Attend any NKT event and you will find a disproportionately high number of arrogant egotists who will do little to help anyone else. Ask an NKTite a question and see if you get a straight answer rather than a diversion.

NKT damages its individual members and visitors in a drip by drip fashion, patronizing them with a philosophy that one's personal happiness is all that matters and is all that anyone need or can pursue. While pleasing to many at first, this errant practice denies the essence of Buddhism, exchanging self for others - the means to reduce selfishness by helping others (i.e., compassion). After all, though ultimately rejected by NKT, each of us has the capacity to help many others, and improving the lives of many others outweighs any selfish gain from pleasing ourselves.

To NKT, compassion is something to imagine, not do.

The net effect of NKT's selfishness doctrine is readily displayed by simply attempting to ask NKTites about its charities to relieve suffering in this world. They will stutter and change the subject to their interest in your happiness. Pursue your query and NKTites will criticize your karma. Pursue examples of NKT's compassion further and you will be ignored or expelled.

NKT has figured out that by focusing one's spiritual pursuit to NKT's prescribed path to selfish happiness will optimally produce the results it seeks - egotism ready to attack others for the profit of NKT's empire and mission to create its 'new tradition' of enhancing suffering of living beings. No wonder NKT protests so vehemently on behalf of its wrathful spirit god against the Dalai Lama, the living emanation of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion.

NKT will eventually find that living the teachings of Atisha and Tsonghkapa, fathers of Kadampa Tibetan Buddhism, will provide sublime benefit for all living beings.

If Gyatso was moral, this web site would not exist.
